The role

The Xero media team plans execute and deliver leading video, motion graphics, and photography projects. The graduate production coordinator will work on a range of projects and digital campaigns to promote Xero.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day production of activities, delivering high quality effective creative work, and champion a positive cultural environment. You'll help manage our production resources and be an integral part of pulling a production together.

What we need from you

You'll be a great communicator, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll have grad level project management experience and administration competence.

Ideally, you'll:

  • have studied production as part of your degree
  • understand the media production process from kickoff to reconciliation
  • understand project management tools to track workflow and time across a project
  • have experience working with a creative team
  • have experience with basic production elements like crewing, scheduling, call sheets, and budgets
  • have strong written and verbal communication skills

If this sounds like you, get in touch! We'd love to hear from you.

How to apply

We'll need a copy of your CV, cover letter, and examples of projects you've worked on that you're proud of.

We'll also need a copy of your academic transcript – we know it won't be complete until the end of the year, so just send us everything so far.

We want your application to showcase your passion for production, so do that in any way you think appropriate!

If you're invited to a face-to-face interview, we'll send you more information beforehand on what to prepare.

You need to be a citizen or permanent resident to apply. We'll need a copy of your passport and/or visa for a start date in Feb 2022.

The recruitment process

Applications open on 1 March 2021 and close 14 May 2021.

It might feel like a long time when you're waiting to hear back, but we will get back to you. We have a lot of applications to work through and want to spend time looking at every single one.

Xero is an NZ Immigration Accredited Employer and Rainbow Tick certified too.

Please include a cover letter in your application, telling us why you're a great fit for this position.
