As a clerk, you get exposure to great matters – massive commercial deals and important government work.

The easiest path may not always be the most exciting. If you’re fortunate enough to have free electives, make them count!

The tasks that I undertake and the projects I have been given, have given me a real chance to challenge myself and prove my abilities.

Don’t discount your other work experiences that aren’t corporate-based – focus on the skills they’ve given you instead, these soft skills are always transferrable and relevant.

The fact I can bring my whole self to work and be myself and I am provided challenging and meaningful work, which lets me focus on becoming the best lawyer I can be.
