In my perspective, the greatest gift of my job is knowing that my work makes a difference in someone else’s day.

Sometimes when you are trying to get where you think you need to be you do not notice how far you have come, look back and appreciate the progress you make.

I have been involved in three vastly different roles and divisions over the course of this program. Having one more rotation left in my program, I am very excited to see where I will be placed next.

Don’t focus too much on grades – as much as you need decent grades, take time to learn and practice people skills because, in the end, those will take you a lot further in your career.

Ben Daly graduated with a Bachelor’s in science – Majoring in Computer Science from the University of Auckland in 2018 and is now a Consultant at Theta.

My daily goal is to maintain safety, high-quality products to ensure customers receive premium Colorsteel

A large part of my role is going to customer sites and running tests that provide information on how the process is running and how the chemicals are performing in the processes.

The programme gives you the chance to try so many different roles that you wouldn’t get to normally do.
