FDM provides you with that foot in the door you may not have been able to achieve on your own. I am originally from Auckland New Zealand and was provided the opportunity by FDM to take my skills over to Australia. I am currently placed with a well-respected multi-national company here in Sydney and am looking to be internalised with them in the coming months office my FDM contract ends. I did not have a technical background coming out of university but now work in the tech industry thanks to the training and connections provided by FDM. This has provided me with the opportunity to jumpstart my career and the opportunities to further progress within the industry are now available to me.

The current situation there is no progression opportunities within the company but in terms of the work they give me tasks that expand the role of a Java Developer which increases my skill set.
