Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
I can see the efforts on the company in emphasizing the importance in the respect of woman but there could be more done to help people feel inclusive. Yes , the international woman's day conference was a step, the mentoring is too, but there is no fellowship in the company. Even under covid restrictions, a tiny celebration of like weekly Friday ladies morning tea could be done. Very hopeful to see more in the future! culture wise... i have yet to experience any commitment to it, but hopefully there will be a cultural day or a special celebration for any culture?

The company put in a big effort around International Women's day, which I think the women in the office appreciated. Also they have increased their parental leave policies. Around the office are many people from various different countries.

Super cool to see clubs for both gender and racial minority groups. International diversity days like womens day and Chinese New Year are celebrated as well. In terms of recruitment, it was slightly disappointing to see only 5 women out of 22 starting on the same day as me. In future it would be great if there was more outreach to LGBTQ+ employees.

This company has a very good family leave policy. They advertise to everyone and highlight diversity in their advertisements. They champion diversity in the workplace. I don't know how things are regarding neurodiversity though.

On International Women's Day, the company held a female-led panel discussion that was open to all teams - over 200 people joined, including males. Every two weeks, we have a shared morning tea for women in the workplace. We also have numerous clubs that are very inclusive to all genders, ethnicities, and sexualities. The company recently improved their childcare/maternity/paternity leave policy.

They like to care for their staff's needs and interest. They recently put out a survey to see how people felt about their inclusiveness and what could be done to improve etc.

Lots of ethnic diversity, although limited in terms of Māori and Pasific employees. Gender diversity could definitely be improved. Unsure of LBGT+ diversity as it doesn't seem to have much focus/visibility - would love to see more of this.

Celebration of Women's Day, support of female graduate hiring, inclusive interview panels, pay transparency

What does your company do to attract applicants from less privileged backgrounds?
No concern about the applicants holding which visa (work visa or PR or citizen).

They go to places of education (usually tertiary) to inspire everyone who is there, but I'm not sure what they do to help people who don't get that far.

Our facilities are easily accessible to all individuals.

They hire people based on their talent and potential, not judged by their skin, gender, age, etc.
