  • Friendly Environment
  • How friendly my buddy and pod are when i am stuck. Everyone is willing to help no matter how dumb or stupid i may sound!
  • The experience to work on a variety of different clients and gain experience while having access to partners and senior managers that can share knowledge to help us learn quicker.
  • Very supportive team members, good communication and training.
  • The payscale
  • Not being taught much
  • Probably how stressful some deadlines can be
  • The bay isn't great at a graduate level compared to some other places but hopefully this will increase over time
  • Pay is quite low considering it is a graduate role.

First you become a graduate accountant if start from when you graduate university. Then after a year or so of being there you progress to being an accountant. then you do CA for 3 or so years and when finish this then you become a senior accountant.

They are very accessible to me when I need help. They are good mentors as they are very approachable and hold monthly catch ups to see how I'm going and give me feedback or praise when needed.

The office is an amazing location currently with beautiful views and everything we could need. Definitely not looking forward to leaving next year

Process was really good for me. Communication with Findex was really good. Questions about my ideas for career future, what areas of accounting I was most interested in. Discussion of what was involved in job, questions about my past work experience and study.

We had a week of graduate training when i first started then since then we have had monthly catch ups with my manager to see how things are going. Have had afew manager training sessions with the other grad also as to how to review work etc. On the job training we have had TMNZ sessions etc. Have just started more grad training weekly for the next 6 months or so to help us learn more. Have picked up various skills from all these.

I think that the ability to work flexibly from home and the productivity percentage in timesheets allows for a fairly flexible week.
